Abstract

Background : Low back pain ( LBP ) is a common problem in the society. Low Back Pain often resulting in patients with impaired or unable to perform everyday tasks. Mechanical LBP is a common cause of disability related to trauma work. Patients with mechanical LBP often decreased ability to perform a particular activity because of that pain. Objective:: Knowing the description of functional disorders and quality of life in patients with Mechanical Low Back Pain. Methods : This research using a descriptive study that attempt to describe the functional disorders and quality of life in patients with Low back pain mechanics Results : The total number of respondents in this study were 27 people. Research shows age 44-54 years had a percentage of 63.0 % , job type Private employees get a percentage of 48.2 % , 55.6 % Gender is Male , Roland - Morris Questionnaire results showed 21 respondents get a percentage above 51 , 85 % is a good category of functional disorders . On the results of the SF - 36 questionnaire , there are 4 categories that include quality of life worse than a total of 8 categories. Conclusions : In this study the majority of patients with mechanical LBP experience mild disabilities from the Roland - Morris questionnaires. The results of questionnaire SF - 36 showed good balance between the good quality of life and the worse. Keywords: Low Back Pain Mechanic, Functional disorders, Quality of Life
