Abstract
Performance is the implementation of work tasks and the results of the work assignments. The performance of the members of the organization will create the organizational performance. Organizational success is measured by organizational performance. Government organizations are increasingly required to have excellent performances. Previous research and literature show that several factors affect performance which are leadership style, communication climate, and perceived organizational support. This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style, communication climate, and perceived organizational support on the employee performance of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicine Research and Development Center. This research was conducted with an explanative quantitative method using a questionnaire on the entire population of 79 employees. The theories used in this research are Administration Management Theory, Bureaucratic Theory, and Perceived Organizational Support Theory. Regression analysis was performed by using the IBM SPSS program. Hypothesis testing uses the coefficient of determination to see the value of the contribution of the influence of the independent variables and ANOVA to see the significance. The results show that leadership style, communication climate, and perceived organizational support together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Perceived organizational support give the highest value in its effect on employee performance. This result shows that leadership style, communication climate, and perceived organizational support are factors that must be considered by MPTMRDC to improve employee performance.
