Analysis of Chicken Meat Supply Chain at Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama Cipendawa Bekasi Company

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the chicken meat supply chain at PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (DPP) which contains product flow, financial flow, information flow, mechanism, and supply chain performance. The research method used was a case study. The research location was chosen purposively. The sample selection method used in this study was a judgement sampling, with respondents selected as suppliers, key informant companies, and customers. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive by analyzing supply chain flow, supply chain mechanism and supply chain performance analysis with the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. The result of the study showed chicken meat product flow moved from supplier to customer. The flow of financial supply chains occured from customer to supplier and information flow occured in two directions, namely supplier to customer and from customer to supplier. Supply chain performance in PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama was classified in very good criteria with a performance value of 96.73. The accuracy of the estimated purchase of chicken meat in the storage warehouse compose the main strategy in the planning of the meat supply chain with a value of 11.59 and the product shipping cost is a less important strategy in planning the supply chain of meat products at PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama with a value of 5.20.
