Aktivitas Humas Polda Jawa Tengah dalam Mengelola Website Tribratanews Polda Jateng

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology led to a change in the way people got information. The Internet simplifies the process of information transactions. Public Relations as a bridge for the organization to the public, utilizing the internet to communicate. Information dissemination is becoming more rapid and transparent. Humas Polda Jateng utilize internet media by developing website tribratanews. The tribratanews management team publishes more than 70 news releases per day containing info on Polda Police Central Java and 35 Polres shelter. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative and based on the theory of balanced e-Government scorecard as a measure of governance performance applying e-Government. The results of this study illustrates that there are five indicators used in managing online media including websites. Maanfaat, website tribratanews contains information that is always updated every day about the police. Website tribratanews is the implementation of the Act no.14 th 2008 on Information Disclosure. The public can participate through comment fields as well as providing feedback on articles published by the tribratanews website. Public Relations Central Java Police need training and ability to improve the quality of Human Resources Public Relations Polda Central Java in managing the website tribratanews. Lack of experts and personnel to be a constraint in the management of the website.
