Abstract

The Central Java Provincial KPU has a program which is one of the programs of the KPU RI contents aimed at the community. From the data obtained there are still many people whose knowledge level is still low will the election in Indonesia and Joglo House election program. The purpose of this research is to know the strategy used by Public Relations of KPU in organizing Joglo House election socialization and for the society in Indonesia to learn about the election itself. The method used in this study using descriptive method with data collection tool through interview. Socialization is carried out by plunging directly into the field because many people do not know about this CPR and the level of knowledge is very low. KPU Public Relations use the strategy indirectly and directly. Indirect strategy that is using social media facebook, twitter in addition to social media KPU using website, print and electronic media. While the direct strategy that is face to face or socialize in some attractions in Semarang such as Banaran Coffee, Goa Kreo, Jatibarang Reservoir. When carrying out the socialization of the KPU to attract the attention of visitors by providing merchandise. From the results of socialization conducted by the Central Java Provincial KPU can be said successfully because the PR explained the materials to the visitors clearly and easily understood by visitors.
