Abstract
Perencanaan peningkatan ruas jalan Ronggowarsito dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi selama jalan dipergunakan. Diantaranya adalah terjadinya penurunan tanah dan kerusakan perkerasan yang disebabkan oleh lalu lintas dan lingkungan. Rob adalah banjir air laut yang terjadi di daerah Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas, yang disebabkan oleh penurunan tanah dan meningkatnya permukaan air laut sebagai dampak dari pemanasan global. Kondisi ini berpengaruh terhadap kinerja jalan. Lalu lintas kontainer mendominasi jalan tersebut, karena merupakan akses masuk Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas. Perencanaan jalan Ronggowarsito sepanjang 310 meter menggunakan perkerasan paving block, yang didasarkan pada Standart British Port Association karena Indonesia belum mempunyai standart desain perkerasan paving. Selain itu, penggunaan perkerasan paving block dinilai memiliki massa yang lebih ringan daripada massa perkerasan kaku (rigid pavement) sehingga penurunan tanah yang terjadi dapat diminimalisir. Kata kunci: Land Subsidence, Paving Block, Perkerasan Kaku. vi ABSTRACT Ronggowarsito road betterment design is motivated by several problems that arise during operational the road. Among them the land subsidence of soil at the area of road and deterioration are of pavement that’s caused by traffic and environment. Rob is the sea causer flooded on the area of Tanjung Emas port, that’s caused by land subsidence and the increasing of sea water level as effect of global warming. It’s environment that influence to performance of the road. Container traffic is dominant heavy traffic that pasing on the road, because it is an access to the Tanjung Emas port. Planning of Ronggowarsito road along the 310 meters is using paving block pavement, that design is based on Standard British Port Association because Indonesia have no standart of design of paving pavement. Besides that, the application of paving pavement considered to have a lighter mass than the mass of a rigid pavement so the soil is subsidence that occurs can be minimized.
