Abstract

Dengan teknik look up table, data dibaca oleh up down counter. G(E) generator is a part of Discriminator Bias Modulation (DBM) modal which has function to determine y rays radiation dose rate. G(E) function is an operator which can convert the spectrum to dose. G(E) generator has been made with 12 bits accuracy. This device is made based on JAERI 533C. Its accuracy is added from 8 bits to be 12 bits. G(E) data for 2 inch diameter and 2 inch width of cylindrical shape NaI(T1) scintilationdetector was saved in the EPROM 2732. By look up table technique, the data is read by up down counter. EPROM output is converted into analog pulsa by 12 bits DAC. This analog pulse pass through the noise discriminator. In the noise discriminator will happen pulse inversion and limitation which will be converted to be dose rate. Noise discriminator output is a graph of G(E) function. This G(E) generator output is used to give a weightings perform for detector pulse. Those pulses is modulated in the summing amplifier and comparator. This comparator output is digital data which can be counted by counter. The result of counting is value of dose rate which can be seen in the scaler. From the examination, the system has could converted the spectrum into the dose. Energy range
