Abstract

Telah dilakukan pemadatan dan perhitungan penghematan memori yang digunakan oleh citra hasil pemadatan. Metode Run-Length Coding mampu menghemat pemakaian memori sampai dengan 98 %. • Sedangkan metode Differential Pulse Code Modulation hanya mampu menghemat pemakaian memori sebesar 50 %. Metode deteksi sisi yang menampilkan piksel-piksel sisi mampu.menghemat pemakaian memori 84 %. Metode Quad hanya mampu menghemat pemakailan memori sebesar 75 %. Dari beberapa metode di atas memberikan effisiensi pemadatan data citra yang berbeda-beda. Menunjukkan •abwa tidak setiap metode di atas, cocok digunakan untuk memadatkan setiap jenis citra. ABSTRACT Have been done compress Image data, used any method. The Run-Length Coding Method have efficiency compress until 98 %. The Defferent Pulse Code Modulation have efficiency until 50 %. Encoding contour have efficiency 84 %. Quad method have efficiency 75 %. Efficiency method is different for every image data. Indicate that is't any image data compression method efficient for every image data.
