Abstract
The Government of Semarang City innovating in the field of Public Service, by gathering a Public Information Center that has a 3 in 1 service system, namely Information Services, Community Complaints Services and Communication Information Technology Facilities Services. However, since it was formalized in 2014, the 3 in 1 system innovation has not attracted the attention of the people of Semarang to be used. Therefore, research needs to be done related to the Interest in the Use of Public Information Centers. The purpose of this study, is to study the Influence between Information Exposure, Knowledge Level and Attitudes of Semarang City Communities, on Interest in Use of Semarang City Government Public Information Centers. This research is a quantitative research with explanatory type. Research Location in Sumurejo Village, Semarang. Hypothesis Testing uses SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Siences). The sample is Sumurejo Urban Village community (n = 174). The results showed a regret of 0.616, which means that Information Exposure and Knowledge Level through Community Attitudes together can have an impact on the Interest in Using the Public Information Center. The Sumurejo urban community is included in the Majority End (Final Result) in the grouping of Innovators because the community makes many considerations before accepting innovation. The public has never used the Public Information Center as many as 91 respondents or 52.3%. and plans to use the Public Information Center but still consider the distance to the need. Based on research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship with Information Exposure, Level of Knowledge of Interest in the Use of Public Information Centers with Community Attitudes As Mediation variables, in grouping community innovators who need a lot of help to use those associated with Public Information Centers. Going forward, the Public Information Center needs to increase information dissemination and increase the intensity of advertising services on television in order to increase the amount of public interest in using the Public Information Center.
