Abstract

Hortimart Agro Center Semarang is one of the companies that is developing and continues to compete with other companies engaged in agro-tourism, so there are several things that must be addressed within the company's companies, namely internal communication, innovation and corporate support in the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze and study the effect of internal communication (X) and Innovation (Z) on employee performance (Y), innovation is also an intervening variable. This type of research is explanative by using quantitative samples using a sample that is conducted using a total sampling technique that is using all employees who collected 91 people. Data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis, and SEM analysis with the Smart PLS program and the Sobel test. The results showed that internal communication with the company was positively related to the path coefficient of 0.349 with a t value of 3.025. Internal communication with a positive influence with a path coefficient of 0.606 with a t value of 9,447. A positive value with a path coefficient of 0.487 with a t value of 5.265. Innovation as an intervening variable with a partial value of 4.62046717 with z-value of 0.00000383. It also intervenes the influence of the dependent variable on the significant mediating variable and the independent influence variable on the mediating variable is also significant so that it can produce research results that support partial mediation (partially mediated). The conclusion of the study is internal communication and providing innovation to employees, as well as innovative interventions also proven. The advice that can be given to Hortimart is to pay more attention to communication between leaders and subordinates, the company's vision and mission, and support from the company because it has a low average in data collection.Keywords: Hortimart, Internal Communication, Innovation, Employee Performance
