Abstract

ABSTRAK Kendaraan umum saat ini seperti mobil menggunakan beberapa pilihan jenis bahan bakar pertamina untuk mobil antara lain premium, pertalite, pertamax, dan pertamax turbo. Performa mesin motor dipengaruhi beberapa faktor, diantara adalah jenis bahan bakar yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan performa motor terhadap penggunaan variasi bahan bakar dengan melakukan pengujian torsi, daya, dan kemudian menganalisa kandungan emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Pengujian masing-masing jenis bahan bakar diuji pada mesin motor bensin Toyota Great Corolla 4 lagkah 4 silinder tahun 1998 cc dengan menggunakan dynotest, yang terhubung dengan komputer. Pada komputer akan mencatat grafik hasil perubahan daya dan torsi dari masing-masing jenis pengujian bahan bakar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan torsi tertinggi pada pertalite sebesar pada 123.9 Nm pada putaran mesin 3500 RPM. Sedangkan daya tertinggi yang dihasilkan oleh pertamax turbo sebesar 92.9 B.H.P pada putaran mesin 6000 RPM. Uji emisi yang dihasilkan dari motor Toyota Great Corolla ini dihasilkan beberapa unsur bahan yang dikelurkan masih di bawah batas maksimum standarisasi uji emisi gas buang kendaraan. Kata kunci : Torsi, Daya, Emisi Gas Buang ABSTRACT Public vehicles like cars use several choices of Pertamina fuel for cars, including premium, pertalite, pertamax and pertamax turbo. Motor engine performance is influenced by several factors, among which is the type of fuel used. This study aims to determine the difference in motor performance against the use of fuel variations by testing torque, power, and then analyzing the content of exhaust emissions produced. The testing of each type of fuel was tested on a gasoline engine Toyota Great Corolla 4 or 4 cylinder in 1998 cc using dynotest, which was connected to a computer. On the computer will record graphs of changes in power and torque of each type of fuel test. The results showed that the highest torque in pertalite was at 123.9 Nm at 3500 RPM engine speed. While the highest power produced by pertamax turbo is 92.9 B.H.P at 6000 RPM engine speed. The emission test produced from the Toyota Great Corolla motor is produced by several elements of material which are disposed of still below the maximum limit of standard vehicle exhaust emission test.
