Abstract
ABSTRACT Pipe leak detection devices have been designed by using Water Flow Sensor YF-S201 and monitoring water level using ultrasonic sensors. Solenoid Valve as an automatic faucet that is useful for regulating water inlet, a small pump that functions to pump water from the tank filter to city tank 1 and city tank 2, a buzzer as an alarm when a pipe leak occurs in a city tank, for monitoring itself using VTSCADA. The design of this measuring instrument is to detect pipe leaks that occur in city tanks. This tool consists of a water discharge sensor Water Flow Sensor YF-S201, Arduino Mega 2560 Microcontroller, Ultrasonic Sensor, Solenoid Valve, Small Pump, and VTSCADA As a leak monitoring monitor and water level of each tank. The waterflow sensor will detect the flow of flowing water, if the discharge of water flowing through the rotor exceeds 150 mL / minute then the pipe is leaking. The Ultrasonic Sensor will detect the water level in each tank, Arduino Mega 2560 will convert the value of water discharge and water level. Then Arduino Mega will control the communication with the sensor, which starts from sending commands to request the results of measuring the value of water discharge and water level. After that, retrieve the data and then process it and send it to monitoring at VTSCADA. The existence of this tool is expected to reduce pipe leakage in city tanks. Hopefully this tool can be useful in the future. Keywords: Waterflow Sensor, Ultrasonic Sensor, Solenoid Valve, Small Pump, Arduino Mega 2560, Buzzer.
