Abstract

REKALKULASI MOTOR DIESEL MITSUBISHI 4 SILINDER Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan Perhitungan Ulang (Rekalkulasi) motor diesel 4 tak 4 silinder. Mesin yang digunakan memiliki spesifikasi mesin Mitsubishi L300 Diesel 4 tak 4 silinder dengan tahun pembuatan 1995, motor diesel yang digunakan ini berpendingin air, dengan mekanisme katup SOHC, isi silinder 2477cc, ukuran Bore x Stroke adalah 91.1 x95.0 , perbandingan kompresi 20:1, memiliki daya mesin sebesar 72 PS/4200 rpm dan besarnya arus yang dibutuhkan motor stater untuk memutar engkol 46 ampere. Laporan ini mencangkup hasil pengukuran-pengukuran komponen mesin diesel L300 antara lain, kepala silinder, blok silinder, silinder liner, torak, batang torak, ring kompresi, ring oli, poros engkol, poros nok, katup, dan rocker arm. Dari pengukuran tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa beberapa komponen masih layak untuk dipakai tetapi ada sebagian yang harus diganti, karena sudah tidak memenuhi standar kelayakan. Rekalkulasi dilakukan dengan cara memasukan data hasil pengukuran ke dalam formula-formula antara lain formula menentukan efisiensi, daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Kata kunci :motor diesel, rekalkulasi,daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar. ABSTRACT RECALCULATION OF MITSUBISHI 4 CYLINDER DIESEL The writing is aims to perform calculation (Recalculation) Diesel engine 4 stroke 4 cylinder. The machines that are used have the engine spesifications of Mitsubishi L300 Diesel 4 stroke 4 cylinder with years of manufacture 1995, diesel engine used is water-cooled, SOHC valve mechanism, with the volume of the cylinder size 2477cc, Bore x Stroke was 91.1 x 95.0, compression ratio 2 0:1 ,have the engine power of 72PS/4200 rpm and the amount of current that the start motorcycle needs to rotate the crank 46 ampere. The report includes the results of measurements of L300 diesel engine components among others, cylinder head, cylinder blok, cylinder liner, piston, connecting rod, compression ring, oil ring, cranckshaft, camshaft, valves, valve spring and rocker arm. From these measurements, it can be concluded that some components are still worthy to wear but there are some components should be replaced, because it does not meet the eligibility standarts. The recalculation done by entering data measurement results into formulas, among others the formula determining the efficiency, power and fuel consumption.
