Abstract

The technological development, especially in the field of information and communication, resulted in the emergence of online media that refers to the mass media companies by utilizing the Internet technology. The online media itself, quickly developed and became a massive, facilitate people for access all of the information easily and quickly.One of the most favourite topic that people search from online media is tourism, or about traveling. According to a report by the Indonesian Tourism Ministry, amount of tourists increased in recent years.That things, demands the Indonesian government to create a strategy to promote the natural resources of Indonesia.One of the strategy by presenting an events that raised the local culture. However, neither tourists nor local communities in Indonesia know little about an event that was held in various regions in Indonesia. and only a few media that focus on providing information about it. Therefore, we work with online media Phinemo.com, which is an online media that focuses on traveling.We worked by managing a website about event tourism with the form of news features and using straightforward and casual style of language. This Managing covers the field of editorial, multimedia and social media. Until the end of the period, the viewers accumulation up to 81,353 of the target number is 50,000. The total release of article is 150 with the same number of targets. The articles released are generated through editing process based on standard editorship. News about event tourism has a great chance to compete with other themes in online media. Moreover, there are so many events held various region in Indonesia.
