Abstract
This research has goal to describe the system promotion of civil servants in Faculty Social and Political Sciences Diponegoro University Semarang. The research using type descriptive with a qualitative approach.The writer user technique data collection with an interview and observation. Informers in the research is staff sub section of staffing. Based on the result are able to pull in conclusion that systems the promotion of civil servants has been quite good, in accordance with regulations by the agency staffing the state andthe government regulation that applies. Suggestion that can say writer in research is in doing the system promotion of civil servants should to be create a data system as The Bank Data used to document storage for civil servants wishing to promote, encourage all officers or staff can handle of the data promotion of civil servants to input data be carefully and correctly, and expected that will be an active in collecting must be owned the amount of credits so that promotion can be held in a timely manner.
