Abstract

Quality of service in the installation of new connections is the first step before becoming a customer in the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) Tirta Moedal South Branch. employees continue to improve the quality of service in the installation of new connections in order to satisfy the customers. The purpose of this study is to describe the quality of service in water utility company (PDAM) Tirta Moedal Semarang South Branch. Constraints faced and the solution. This research uses qualitative research method. The result of this research is that the quality of service in the installation of sambung baru in Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Moedal Semarang Cabang Selatan. still not well seen from the raw water raw material, the installation is too long, and the duration of activation. Seen from all constraints that occur, the solution can be taken is: tangible (tangible) solution is done by adding water source again so that water can flow for 24 hours and when dry can still be done installation so no delay in installation again. The solution to reliability is by first notifying customers and employees and customers do not delay installation.
