PEMELIHARAAN HUBUNGAN PADA KELUARGA POLIGAMI

Abstract

The family's polygamy has the potential conflicts that more than the family of monogamy. The actions of husband's unfair have an impact on the incidence of conflict. Her husband and other family members have an important role in maintaining family harmony remain so polygamy. Family harmony is the dream of everyone who is married, the family of polygamy was no exception. Family harmony polygamy is the goal of every performer's practice of polygamy. The existence of a conflict in the family's polygamy should be quickly resolved with either so as not to damage the good relations which are already entwined. This research aims to find out how the maintenance of the relationships in the family's polygamy. through this research, phenomenological approach refers to the interpretive paradigm. This research uses the Foundation social Penetration Theory and Relationship Maintance Theory. Data collecting used in this study is in dept interviews (in-depth interviews). The subject of this study are two families of polygamy. The results of this study found that each family has a life of polygamy different families. Both families of polygamy has a difference in living the daily life like living in a House with his wives and lives a different home with his second wife. Family conflict on polygamy is caused by the injustice of the husband according to the first wife or second wife. Injustice on the Division of a living and sharing of time with the wife. In addition, the conflict of the war of the mouth and the mutual silence also occurs frequently among the first wife and second wife. This occurs due to a sense of jealousy and dissent in doing household chores. Effort is made to resolve family conflicts polygamy through the family gatherings to discuss the conflict and resolve conflict well. Family communication is very instrumental in aligning the idea of each family member to resolve conflicts. The findings of other researchers are less good relationship between the first and second wife in family I but in family II, while good relations occur between the first and second wife. In addition both families have good relations that occur between the stepmother and stepchildren, even there are stepchildren who considers his stepmother as her biological mother. It is indicative of a sense of compassion polygamy's family.
