Abstract
The oven is an apparatus in the form of an insulated thermal chamber used as a drying material. Drying uses oven faster than drying using solar heat. However, the drying speed depends on the thickness of the dried material. Oven use is usually used for small scale. The oven that we use is electric oven which is an oven consisting of several tray inside, and have air circulation inside .Cassava is a kind of tubers of crops that can be processed into food one of them is cassava is thin layer of cassava slices. A thin layer of cassava slices is obtained by cutting cassava with the machine, then washed and then bluff (soaking with hot water for 5 minutes) to remove the odor from the cassava and then dry with oven.
