Hubungan antara Spiritualitas dengan Kecemasan pada Ibu Hamil Primigravida Trimester III di Puskesmas Ngesrep

Abstract

Indonesia Data Health Survey known on the 2012 from Health Departemen Republic of Indonesia, 2014 showed anxiety primigravidae pregnant women in Indonesia is 83,4% severe anxiety and 16,6% moderate anxiety. Uncontrolled anxiety during pregnancy will cause various effects on pregnant women and fetuses. Internal factor that influence anxiety is spirituality. With high spirituality hoped that pregnancy women have normal or mind anxiety. A preliminary study showed that from 7 primigravidae in third trimester pregnant women, 4 women experience moderate anxiety, 1 pregnant women experiencing severe anxiety, and two pregnant women experiencing normal anxiety. The present study aimed to identify the relationship between spirituality and anxiety in pregnant women primigravidae in the third trimester in Ngesrep Health Center. This research represented a descriptive correlative with cross-sectional approach. To take the data, this research used DSES and DASS. This studies use total sampling technique and the samples were 70 primigravidas third trimester pregnant women who do the antenatal care in Ngesrep Health Center. A bivariate analysis using Spearman's test was performed the data. The study reported that there was correlation between spirituality with anxiety with p-value 0.000 and α < 0.05 and the value of correlation is negative. Pregnant women expected more attention to spirituality for reduce anxiety in pregnancy. Keywords : Spirituality, Anxiety,Primigravidae in Third Trimester
