Hubungan Implementasi Program Konseling Menyusui oleh Konselor ASI dengan Keberhasilan Konseling Menyusui di Wilayah Kota Salatiga

Abstract

Universitas Diponegoro Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Program Studi Magister Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Konsentrasi Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak 2016 ABSTRAK Citra Elly Agustina Hubungan Implementasi Program Konseling Menyusui oleh Konselor ASI dengan Keberhasilan Konseling Menyusui di Wilayah Kota Salatiga xvi + 92 halaman + 22 tabel + 2 gambar + 12 lampiran Implementasi konseling menyusui oleh konselor ASI di wilayah kota Salatiga belum optimal karena belum memperhatikan mekanisme pelaksanaan konseling menyusui yang meliputi komunikasi, sumberdaya, disposisi dan struktur birokrasi dalam pelaksanaan konseling menyusui. Implementasi konseling menyusui yang belum optimal ini menyebabkan cakupan ASI eksklusif yang belum mencapai 80 %. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan crossectional, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 41 responden konselor ASI dan 41 responden klien konseling menyusui dengan tehnik total sampling, instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner untuk mengetahui implementasi program konseling menyusui yang berhubungan dengan keberhasilan konseling menyusui oleh konselor ASI Hasil penelitian menunjukan Sebagian besar keberhasilan konseling menyusui tercapai. Faktor Komunikasi, struktur birokrasi, sumberdaya berhubungan signifikan dengan keberhasilan konseling menyusui. Faktor disposisi tidak berhubungan dengan keberhasilan konseling menyusui. Besar sumbangan sumberdaya dan struktur birokrasi program konseling menyusui dalam mempengaruhi keberhasilan konseling menyusui yaitu sebanyak 97%. Disarankan meningkatkan pengetahuan konselor menyusui melalui penyegaran (refresh) mengenai permasalahan dan penanganan masalah menyusui serta selalu mendokumentasikan semua kegiatan program konseling menyusui. This condition caused a coverage of exclusive breastfeeding had not reached 80%. This was an observational study using cross sectional approach. Number of samples were 41 breastfeeding counsellors and 41 clients of breastfeeding counselling selected using a technique of total sampling. A research instrument used a questionnaire to identify the relationship between the implementation of a breastfeeding counselling program and the success of breastfeeding counselling by breastfeeding counsellors. The results of this research showed that breastfeeding counselling mostly had achieved the target. The factors of communication, a structure of bureaucracy, and resource statistically significantly related to the success of breastfeeding counselling. In contrast, the factor of disposition was not statistically significant. The factors of resource and a structure of bureaucracy influenced the success of the breastfeeding counselling program as much as 97%. The knowledge of the breastfeeding counsellors needs to be improved by refreshing their minds about current problems and the methods of problem solving. In addition, all activities of the breastfeeding counselling program needs to be well documented.
