PERBANDINGAN RERATA PENGETAHUAN GURU DAN MURID SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DAN KEJURUAN TENTANG KEKERASAN ANAK DI SEKOLAH SEBELUM DAN SETELAH SEMINAR PEMBERDAYAAN USAHA KESEHATAN SEKOLAH

Abstract

Background: Children bullying is defined as all forms of action which physically or emotionally painful to the children. The prevention of children bullying is the responsibility of government and public. The responsibility is formed in various institutions or social organizations such as schools. The school has to create the prevention program and bullying response program. The school policy that is free from any kind of bullying is necessary, namely by activating th school health program (UKS). Objective: To know the knowledge of teachers and students in high school and vocational school about children bullying in schools before and after the seminar about empowerment of the school health program. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental one group pretest posttest design. Normality test used the Shapiro-Wilk test, and then the hypoyhesis test used the Wilcoxon test. Results: The mean of pretest about bullying was 78.00 and the mean of posttest was 87.11. The mean of pretest about knowledge of school health program was 74.66, while the mean of posttest rose to 86.44. Furthermore, the p value of Wilcoxon test between pre and post was 0.000 (p <0.05). In that case, we can conclude that there was a significant difference. Conclusion: There is a significant difference between the knowledge of teachers and students in high school and vocational school in Semarang city after and before the seminar about empowerment of the school health program.
