Gambaran Pengetahuan Tentang Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri Masker pada Pekerja Industri Mebel Di Kabupaten Jepara

Abstract

Occupational Lung Disease is one of the risk due to high levels of dust in the air during the working process. Knowledge workers in the use of PPE mask needs to be considered because it is closely connected with the prevention of diseases, especially Occupational Lung Disease. The purpose of this research is to know the description of knowledge of using personal protective equipment in the prevention in workers in the district of Jepara furniture industry. The design of this research was quantitative research design using descriptive cross sectional survey. This study use a total sampling technique with sample size in this study were 124 workers in the furniture industry Bendansari Hamlet, Tahunan Village. The data were taken using a questionnaire that has been created by the researchers contains the knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment mask on the furniture industry workers. The The result of this study was that respondent has had a good knowledge is 67 respondents with a percentage of 54%. Knowledge workers on the use of PPE mask must of course always be improved. One factor that can make a person making a decision is the knowledge that good.
