Abstract
Flavonoid is phenolic derivative which has the basic structure fenilbenzopiron (tocopherol), characterized by a frame of 15 carbon (C6 - C3 - C6), which consists of an oxygenated ring and two aromatic rings. Spectrophotometry is one of the instrumental analysis method that uses the basic interaction of energy and matter. Soursop leaves is used as an alternative treatment for cancer treatment, such as consume soursop leaves boiled water. Based on the research that has been done by maceration method on soursop leaves can be concluded that the greater the absorbance in the can, the greater the concentration of flavonoid compounds obtained. So that the amount of material and solvent are most effective in getting that high flavonoid levels is an experiment using soursop leaf mass of 30 grams with 150 ml ethanol and get the flavonoid content of 0.08 g / 100ml.
