Abstract
Screw press is a machine that continuing the process of separating the oil from the digester that composed of double screw press that brought the masses out and applied pressure the opponent comes from hydraulic double cone, with each screw rotating opposite each other carry out mass press. Practicum process of making glue firing of glycerol peanut oil. Peanut oil is obtained with a screw press. The analysis of peanut oil viscosity and density values. Viscosity values respectively 165.3 Cp; 166.3 Cp; 166.8 Cp; 168.2 CP; CP 166.82, while the value of density 0.8852 g / ml; 0.9012 gr / ml; 0.9232 gr / ml, 0.9352 gr / ml, 0.9372 gr / ml. Yield of peanut oil is also calculated, the results obtained respectively 8.04%, 8.2%, 8.36%, 12.06%, 12.56%. Of the three variables glue firing in accordance with the product on the market that as light brown color and smell like glue melted when shooting in general. A graph of temperature and volume of oil obtained linear relationship graph, the higher the temperature presses the oil obtained results are also more and more with a value of 1.03 was nearly the maximum because any deviation only 0.03.
