Abstract
ABSTRAK Apa hubungan iklim komunikasi organisasi dan budaya organisasi ? jika iklim komunikasi organisasi berfokus bagaimana institusi mengkomunikasikan pesan sedangkan budaya organisasi menitik beratkan pada nilai-nilai yang akan ditanamkan disebuah organisasi sehingga setipa orang dalam organisasi tersebut memiliki budaya kerja yang sama dan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk barang atau jasa yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Komunikasi positif akan berakibat terciptanya iklim komunikasi organisasi yang baik sehingga akan berpengaruh pada motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja setiap organisasi. Sebaliknya, keretakan komunikasi akan mengakibatkan iklim komunikasi organisasi yang buruk. Dengan situasi komunikasi yang buruk seperti ini akan mwenyebakan iklim komunikasi organisasi mejadi buruk. Akibatnya terjadi keretakan hubungan antara anggota organisasi, perseilisihan antara anggota organisasi dan suasana organisasi yang muram, wujud sikap mementingkan diri sendiri, produktivitas organisasi yang menurun hingga penyalahgunaan wewenang untuk kepuasan diri sendiri. Komunikasi organisasi mutlak terjadi dalam suatu organisasi, karena didalam suatu organisasi pasti terjadi pertukaran ataupun penyebaran informasi, dimana kesemuanya tercakup kedalam kajian komunikasi organisasi. Dukungan (supportiveness), pembuatan keputusan partisipatif (participative decision making), kepercayaan, keyakinan, dan kredibilitas (trust, confidences,credibility), keterbukaan dan ketulusan (openess and candor), tujuan kinerja tinggi (high performance goals) apabila diterapkan dalam organisasi akan bisa meningkatkan motivasi kerja pegawai. Budaya organisasi merupakan karakteristik suatu organisasi Suatu organisasi selalu mempunyai budayanya sendiri yang tentu berbeda dengan organisasi lain. Budaya organisasi akan membentuk sikap dari para anggota organisasi dalam mengerjakan tugasnya. Setiap organisasi mempunyai budaya organisasi yang mempengaruhi semua aspek organisasi dan perilaku anggotanya secara indivudual dan kelompok. Pernyataan tersebut menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh dari budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai dalam organisasi. Kata kunci : Iklim komunikasi organisasi, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja ABSTRAC What is the correlation between organizational communication and organizational culture climate? The climate of organizational communication focuses on how the institution communicates messages while organizational culture focuses on values that will be invested in an organization so that everyone in the organization have similar working culture aiming for producing goods or services that can meet the needs of customers. Positive communication will result in the formation of good organizational communication climate that can affect the working motivation and job satisfaction of each organization. Conversely, communication breakdown will lead to poor organizational communication climate. Thus, the organizational communication climate will get worse. The result is a relationship breakdown among members of the organization, conflicts and depressing working condition, selfishness, decreasing organizational productivity and abuse of authority for self-gratification. Organizational communication is inevitable in an organization because an organization must have an exchange or dissemination of information, all of which is included into the study of organizational communication. Supportiveness, participative decision making, trust, confidence, credibility ,openness and candor, high performance goals when applied in an organization can increase employee working motivation. Organizational culture is the characteristic of an organization An organization always has its own culture which is different from other organizations. Organizational culture will shape the attitudes of the members of the organization in doing their job. Each organization has an organizational culture that affects all aspects of the organization and the behavior of its members, personally and in general. The statement stated that there is an impact of organizational culture on working motivation of employees in the organization.
