Abstract

Pembuatan alat uji head statis pompa ini dimaksudkan untuk menerapkan teori-teori yang telah didapatkan selama masa perkuliahan dalam mengetahui head statis pompa, karakteristik pompa dan efisiensi pompa. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara mengatur bukaan katup untuk mendapatkan data-data yang dibutuhkan dalam mencari head statis, karakteristik, dan efisiensi pompa. Dari hasil pengujian head statis pompa menggunakan fluida air pada tekanan dalam tangki 0,5 bar diperoleh data sebagai berikut : debit maksimal 26 LPM dengan head total 6,42 m dan head sistem 6,75 m dan debit terendah 10 LPM dengan head total 22.71 m dan head sistem 6,27 m. dari hasil pengujian didapat titik kerja optimal pompa pada laju aliran 25,62 LPM dengan head pompa 6,73 m. Kata kunci: pompa, head statis, Karakteristik pompa, head sistem, head total, laju aliran. Making the pump static head test equipment aims to apply theories that have been acquired during the lecture in knowing the static head of pump, pump characteristics, and pump efficiency. Test done by regulating the valve opening to obtain the required in the search for pump head static, pump characteristics, and pump efficiency. Result of testing the static head on the pump in the tank is 0.5 bar pressure, data obtained as follows: a maximum of 26 LPM discharge with total head 6.42 m and 6.75 m system head and lowest discharge 10 LPM with total head 22.71 m and 6,27 m head system. From the test result obtained optimum work point of the pump at rate of 25.62 LPM flow with head 6.73 m. Key word : Pump, Static Head, Characteristic Head, System Head, Total Head, Flow.
