Abstract
Universitas Diponegoro Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Program Magister Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Kosentrasi Administrasi dan Kebijakan Kesehatan Minat Manajemen Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak 2014 ABSTRAK Wahyu Cahyono Faktor Determinan Kinerja Petugas Gizi dalam Penanganan Gizi Buruk di Puskesmas Kabupaten Lombok Timur Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat Tahun 2013 xiii + 116 halaman + 30 tabel + 2 gambar + 9 lampiran Kasus gizi buruk di Kabupaten Lombok Timur semakin meningkat 3,32% pada tahun 2010 menjadi 3,71% pada tahun 2012. Hal ini menunjukkan penanganan gizi buruk di Kabupaten Lombok Timur masih belum maksimal, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor determinan yang berhubungan dengan kinerja petugas gizi dalam penanganan gizi buruk di Puskesmas Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif dengan jenis observasional analitik dan disain Crossectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner terstruktur. Populasi adalah petugas gizi di Puskesmas kabupaten Lombok Timur yang berjumlah 98. Jumlah subyek 50 orang yang dipilih secara acak dari setiap Puskesmas. Analisis univariat dilakukan dengan distribusi frekuensi, analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan uji Chi-square dan Fisher’s Exact dan analisis multivariat dengan regresi logistik berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata umur responden 29 tahun (54%), jenis kelamin pria (58%), pendidikan DIV/S1 (74%) dan masa kerja >5 tahun (62%). Tingkat pengetahuan responden yang kurang baik (64%), petugas gizi yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi (72%), persepsi beban kerja berat (52%), sikap petugas gizi terhadap penanganan gizi buruk yang baik (68%), sarana dan prasarana cukup (82%), petugas gizi dengan persepsi supervisi baik (62%) dan petugas gizi yang mendapatkan imbalan kurang dalam penanganan gizi buruk (40%). Ada hubungan antara pengetahuan (p=0,000), sarana dan prasarana (p=0,007) dan persepsi supervisi (p=0,01) dengan kinerja petugas gizi. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan Exp(B)=24,581, sarana dan prasarana Exp(B)=27,458 Berpengaruh secara bersama-sama pada kinerja petugas gizi dalam penanganan gizi buruk di Puskesmas. Disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten untuk menyediakan srana dan prasarana yang mendukung kegiatan penanganan gizi buruk di Puskesmas Kabupaten Lombok Timur. This condition indicated that handling malnutrition cases there had not been maximal. This research aimed to find out about the determinant factors related to nutritionists’ performance in handling malnutrition cases at health centers in District of East Lombok. This was quantitative research using observational-analytic methods and cross-sectional approach. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Population was 98 nutritionists worked at health centers in District of East Lombok. Number of samples was 50 persons selected randomly from each health center. Furthermore, data were analyzed using analyses of univariate (frequency distribution), bivariate (chi-square and fisher’s exact tests) and multivariate (multiple logistic regressions). The result of this research revealed that mostly respondents had the average ages of 29 years old (54%), was male (58%), graduated from DIV/S1 (74%), and had work period more than 5 years (62%). In addition, most of them had bad knowledge (64%), high motivation (72%), perception of heavy workload (52%), good attitude in handling malnutrition cases (68%), sufficient means (82%), perception of good supervision (62%), and insufficient rewards (40%). Variables of knowledge (p=0.000), means (p=0.007), and supervision (p=0.01) significantly related to nutritionists’ performance. Based on multivariate analysis, variables of knowledge (Exp(B)=24.581) and means (Exp(B)=27.458) jointly influenced nutritionists’ performance in handling malnutrition cases at health centers. As a suggestion, District Health Office needs to provide means to support the activities of handling malnutrition at health centers in District of East Lombok.
