Analisys of the factors that Have Relationship with the Nurse,s Performance at the Inpatient Health Center in Appliying the Upbringing Standard of Nursing in Distric of Kebumen Year 2005

Abstract

Care services of public health at a Health Center are oriented to a goal, which is focused to upbringing of nursing effectively using nursing process. It will give a good result to patients who use care services at a Health Center. Capability of a Health Center to give the upbringing services of nursing professionally depend on the nurse’s performance at a Health Center in applying the upbringing standard of nursing. The aim of this research was to know the factors that have significant relationship with the nurse’s performance at the Inpatient Health Center in aplying the upbringing standard of nursing in distric of Kebumen. This was an observational research using survey method and cross sectional approach. Number of respondents were 45 persons. They were the nurses who were the government health worker and worked at the Inpatient Health Centers in distric of Kebumen. The quantitative data was analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and multivariate method using Rank Spearmen test and significant level on 0.05 . The qualitative data was gotten by Brainstorming to 10 nurses. The result of this research shows that the factors, which have significant relationship with the nurse’s performance are knowledge ( p value = 0.008), motivation ( p value = 0.000 ), leadership ( p value = 0.024 ), supervision (p value = 0,000) and and system of compensation (p value = 0.006). Education does not have significant relationship with the nurse,s performance ( p value = 0.183 ). The result of brainstorming as follows : most of respondents said that the upbringing standard of nursing coult be applied and used as guidance in giving the upbringing services at the Health Center. All of nurses who woeked at the Inpatien Health Center documentation process of nursing could be concidered to evaluate the credit value of functional position. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
