Abstract

ABSTRACT The research is based that there are still many “corrections” at the corner of the newspaper column Suara Merdeka daily newspaper. Supposed to a lot of experience, this media companies can reduce the eroor still occurs. Therefore, it means the problem of employee productivity in the editorial department of this company is very bad, associated with intensity of socialization or provision of information about the values and the welfare on this company. The research aims for determine the relationship between socialization intensity of corporate culture and the welfare of the employees productivity. Theory used to support this research is Teori Steers. Samples in this research were 76 respondents drawn from 380 employees of Department editorial Suara Merdeka daily newspaper. By sampling using the formula from Frank Lynch and taken using random sampling techniques. For testing the hypothesis use statistical calculations “The Correlation Coefficient Rank Kendall “as a measure of test or count the correlation coefficient variable rate. Based on the statistical calculation result that the variable socialization intensity of corporate culture there is a relationship with the employee productivity. It means the more often held the socialization of the corporate culture will produce better the producyivity of work by employees and the views of value of this research proved the hypothesis significance. At the level of welfare variables showed a relationship with employee productivity, meaning that the higher the level of welfare obtained by the employee will result in a better employee productivity. To measure the strength of the relationship between the intensity of socialization about corporate culture and the welfare of the employee productivity using the Kendall Coefficient of Concordance can be concluded that there is a relationship between these three variables were significant. Based on these results to obtain the correlation coefficient of the conclusions drawn is that there is a significant positive relationship between the intensity of socialization about corporate culture and the welfare of the employee productivity.
