Peran Filsafat Ilmu dalam Pengembangan Metode Ilmiah

Abstract

This article describes the role of philosophy of science in the development of the scientific method. Philosophy of science to explain the science or science, what are the assumptions, such as what berfikirnya way, what empirical results achieved, as well as limitations. While the scientific methodology describes efforts to develop science based on its traditions, which consists of two parts,abductive, deductive and inductive. Similarly, on the results achieved, , both descriptive (qualitative and quantitative) and that was the relationship. Philosophy of science and scientific methodology in this case complement and expand on what is called science. Expected that after reading this article will cause to be disciplined in terms of scientific work, while increasing motivation as researchers to carry out research with a good scientific method.
