Abstract

Keakurasian hasil pengujian kuat tekan pada benda uji dengan kuat tekan rencana sangat diutamakan, karena itu perlu diteliti bagaimana agar pengujian benda uji beton dapat seakurat mungkin. Salah satunya ialah dengan pemegangan pada ujung benda uji (sistem kaping). Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 variasi sistem kaping, yaitu: topi baja, kaping belerang dan kaping teflon, dan hanya menggunakan benda uji berbentuk silinder. Studi ini membuktikan bahwa kuat tekan optimal pada silinder beton diperoleh bukan hanya dipengaruhi komposisi agregat campuran, tetapi juga pengaruh kaping pada saat pengujian tekan. Penggunaan kaping yang tepat sangat mempengaruhi keakurasian yang tinggi. One of them is by holding the tip of the specimen (capping system). This study used three variations capping system, ie: steel capp, capping sulfur and capping Teflon, and only using cylindrical specimens. This study proves that an optimal compressive strength of concrete cylinders obtained not only influenced the composition of aggregate mixture, but also influence capping during pressure testing.
