Abstract

Bendung Mrican adalah bendung tetap yang digunakan untuk keperluan irigasi. Dibangun di atas sungai Gajahwong yang memiliki luas daerah 65,5 km2 dan terletak ± 1,5 km di sebelah timur laut terminal bus Giwangan kecamatan Bangunmantap, Kabupaten Bantul, Propinsi D.I Yogyakarta. Sebelum bendung Mrican di bangun pengairan sawah di lakukan dengan mengambil air dari saluran Mataram berasal dari kali Belik, namum kurang maksimal karena kali Belik berfungsi juga sebagai saluran drainase. Pada era sebelum tahun 2000 areal sawah yang ada sekitar ± 278 ha. Tetapi saat ini terjadi perubahan fungsi lahan yang disebabkan oleh aglomerasi kota Yogyakarta, seperti untuk Komplek perumahan, Jalan lingkar selatan, terminal bus, dll. Sehingga lahan yang ada pada saat ini adalah 141 ha dengan yang di tanami Padi dan Jagung, dan di terapkan pola tnam 2 (dua) golongan. Sebelum merencanakan bendung dilakukan terlebuh dahulu analisa Hidrologi sehingga di ketahui Debit Banjir untuk priode ulang 100 tahun adalah 187,62 m3/det, dan Debit pengambilan sebesar 0,039 m3/det. Bendung Mrican direncanakan dengan spesifikasi Mercu OGEE setinggi 6,5 m, kolam olak USBR tipe III, lebar bendung 33,5 m untuk lebar efektifnya 30,15 m dan dilengkapi juga dengan kantong lumpur, pintu pembilas, pintu pengambilan serta dinding penahan tanah. Pembangunan Bendung Mrican kurang lebih Rp 9 Milyar, dan rencana waktu pelaksanaan + 150 hari kerja. Before Mrican weir, irrigation for rice field in Mrican area did water intake from Mataram Canal through Belik river, but not maximum. Because of Belik river has also functional as drainage canal. Before 2000 year, the rice field area had + 278 ha, but some area of rice field had changed function. It had caused of agglomeration of the Yogyakarta City. Some area had became of Real estate, the South outer ring road, Bus Station, etc. At this present there are 141 ha rice field, it has planted by Rice and Corn. The planted use plant pattern is 2 (two) group. For design of weir, before that it must do Hydrology analysis. From Hydrology analysis has known for float of Debit in one hundred years period 187,62 m3/s and Debit for intake 0,039 m3/s. Mrican Weir will design with specific, such as OGEE Peak 6,5 m tall, USBR type III for Stilling Basin and also completed with sand trap (Zub Zark). Canal for slice, gate for intake and slice and Retaining walls. Mrican weir spend of fund around Rp. 9 billion and time schedule for construction around 150 working days.
