Abstract
Matrix permutasi cyclic tertentu dapat digunakan untuk mendefinisikan matrix circulant. Matrix circulant merupakan matrix normal, sehingga dapat didiagonalisasi matrix unity tertentu, yaitu matrix Fourier. Diagonalisasi matrix Fourier merupakan ciri khas matrix circulant. Denoan menggunakan diagonalisasi matrix Fourier dapat digunakan untuk mendefinisikan operasi-operasi pada matrix circulant, determinan matrix circulant dan invers matrix circulant.
