Abstract
Pada operasi aljabar terdapat operasi biner * yaitu himpunan s tertutup terhadap *. Hubungan semigrup, monoid dan grup adalah ketiganya merapakan himpunan dengan sebilA operasi biner. Operasi biner yang bersifat asosiatif disebut semigrup. Selanjutnya semigrup yang mempunyai elemen identitas disebut monoid dan monoid yang mempunyai Myers disebut grup.
