Abstract

Perlakuan alkali terhadap debu bahan baku semen telah dilakukan. Mineral komponen penyusun debu bahan baku semen adalah CaO, SiO2, Al203, MgO dan Fe2O3 yang memiliki kemiripan dengan komponen penyusun abu layang batubara yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku sintesis senyawa alumina silika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengubah debu bahan baku semen menjadi suatu senyawa alumina silika. Reaksi pengubahan debu bahan baku semen menjadi senyawa tersebut dilakukan dengan merefluks campuran debu bahan baku semen dan larutan NaOH 3M dalam labu leher tiga selama 7 jam pada suhu 100°C. Produk dipisahkan, dicuci dengan akuades, dan dikarakterisasi menggunakan spektrofotometer infra merah dan difraktometer sinar-X. Berdasarkan hasil karakterisasi fraksi endapan diketahui bahwa material bare yang terbentuk adalah kalsium silikat yang memiliki warna abu-abu gelap yang cenderung terang dengan bertambahnya rasio berat sampel terhadap volume reaktan NaOH. Alkaline treatment on cement raw material dust have been done. The materials which composed cement raw material dust were CaO, Si02, Al203, MgO and Fe203 similar to the component in coal fly ash and could be used to synthesize of aluminosilicate. This research intend to convert the dust into aluminosilicate. The dust converting reaction into aluminosilicate was using sodium hydroxide 3M solution. The mixture was heated to 100°C for 7 hours in triple neck flask. Product separated from the solution, washed by aquadest and characterized by using infra red spectrophotometer and X-ray diffractometer. Based on characterization the product, it was concluded that the product was calcium silicate which had dark grey color disposed to bright grey with increased ratio sample weight to reactan volume NaOH. da menggunakan metode spektrofotometri untuk mengetahui adanya aktivitas antioksidan, serta penentuan kadar gula secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan reagen Fehling. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh harga peroksida minyak kedelai yang telah ditambahkan masing-masing filtrat tempe gembus dengan variasi waktu fermentasi 0; 12; 24; 36; dan 48 jam adalah: 2,858 meq Fe/kg minyak, 2,967 meq Fe/kg minyak, 3,269 meq Fe/kg minyak, 3,255 meq Fe/kg minyak, dan 1,792 meq Fe/kg minyak. Sedangkan harga peroksida minyak kedelai sebagai standar adalah 2,735 meq Fe/kg minyak. Dari hasil ini, aktivitas antioksidan ditunjukkan oleh filtrat tempe gembus 48 jam yang ditandai dari menurunnya harga peroksida .Hasil positif pada uji Fehling ditunjukkan oleh filtrat tempe gembus 0-36 jam fermentasi, Sedangkan pada filtrat 48 jam fermenrasi diperoleh hasil negatif. Ini menunjukkan bahwa senyawa isoflavon pada waktu fermentasi ini berada dalam bentuk aglikon. Gumbos tempe is marked from waste product of tofu food that has still amount of protein. Based of research in soybean tempe have been know that present of isoflavone compound which have biological activity as antioxidant. Because gumbos tempe is origins from identical ingredient and microorganism in fermentation with soybean tempe, therefore estimated vvilll also obtained identical bioactive compound. In this research had conducted isolation of isoflavone compound with various fermentation time 0; 12; 24; 36; and 48 hour used solvent extraction method, then ascertained peroxide value used spectrofotometric method to known present of antoxidant activity and grade of sugar in qualitative executed using Fehling's reagent. Result of this research obtained peroxide value of soybean oil had added each gumbos tempe filtrate with various fermentation time 0; 12; 24; 36; and 48 hour is: 2,585 meq Fe/kg oil, 2,967 meq Fe/kg oil, 3,269 meq fe/kg oil, 3,255 meq Fe/kg oil, and 1,792 meq Fe/kg oil. While peroxide value of soybean oil as standart is 2,735 meq Fe/kg oil. From this result showed antioxidant activity indicated by filtrate of gumbos tempe 48 hour fermentation which marked by decrease peroxide value. Positive result of Fehling's test obtained at filtrate of gumbos tempo 0-36 hour fermentation, whereas at filtrate of 48 hour fermentation gived negative result. It showed that isoflavone compound in this fermentation time present in aglycon.
