Abstract

Some research about the influence of grid movement to radiography quality has been done. It's done by using moving grid ( reciprocating type, with ratio of 8:1) that is put between object and film.. The research by exposure of object such as step wedge that is placed in the water box has done, and than measurement density by densitometer, and doing calculating contras radiograph. The second step, speed of grid measurement by show and measure distance of grid movement. The research shows that the larger exposure time mean the more slow grid movement, so that the density and contras will increase, and the optimal contrast produced will 0,3 second of using time and 16.6 crn/second using the speed
