Abstract
It have been done reseach about the variety of the tube potential and object thickness of beam against to the exposure rate of the scatter radiation in radiodiagnostic X-ray energy range. The experiment used a film dosimetry and phantom within plastic bag that was filled by water with determined specification. The exposal factor which is used, is value of tube potential from 85 kV to 120 kV with interval of 5 kV, value tube current 50 mA, exposal time 0,2 second and the distance from foctis to film was 100 cm. The result of the research shows that increasing of X-ray tube potential and object thickness of beam can make increasing of scatter radiation quantity. From that condition known that the tube potential of 150 kV with scatter exposure rate of 2,70 mR/ hr which is suitable with the limit permitted by BATAN.
