Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui jarak antara elektroda dengan obyek (phantom) air yang optimal sehingga diperoleh panas yang sesuai untuk fisioterapi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengatur jarak antara elektroda dengan obyek (phantom) air dan mengukur temperatur obyek setelah dikenai gelombang pendek berfrekuensi 27,12 MHz selama 20 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : jarak elektroda dengan obyek yang semakin besar akan menyebabkan temperatur yang ditimbulkan semakin kecil, jarak optimal pada pemberian energi 1760 joule adalah 1 cm dengan temperatur yang dihasilkan sebesar 47,32 °C, sedangkan pada pemberian energi 2200 joule adalah 2 cm dengan temperatur yang dihasilkan sebesar 46,85 °C. Has been studied to knew the spacing between electrode and the object (water phantom), so could be the optimal heat for physiotherapy. The research done by using different spacing between electrode and the object (water phantom) and then measures the object temperature after the short wave of 27,12. MHz through to the object during 20 minutes. The result show that : spacing between electrode and the object more great so the object temperature would be decrease, the optimal electrode spacing with used energy 1760 joule was 1 cm and the object temperature result 47,32 °C, and then with used energy 2200 joule was 2 cm and the temperature was 46,85 °C.
