Abstract
The solution of estimating size and shape of gravity anomali source is known as inverse which usualy is achieved via optimation of parameters, that is starting from initial model is calculated its corresporending theoritical anomaly which compared with observed data_ Using residuals between the two as guides for modifying the parameters of the initial model to obtain the best fit model. In this thesis is disscused inverse problem of estimating the fault size that is popular structure for geophysical model to study prospecting regional for exploration. The Marquardt optimation prosedure which is interpolation technique between Gauss Newton and Steepest Descent is used as algorithm for prosess of minimisation of non linear sum of squares residual function between theoritical anomaly and observed data. Whereas the initial values model parameters are obtained from observation data curve analyzing. Then made of Authomatic Inversion Methode Normal Fault Gravity Anomalies computer program use BASIC. The program requires gravity anomalies and their distances measured from refference point on the profiles input. The initial values calculated authomaticly use field curve analizer program, then to improve iteratively until the best parameters obtained. viii This document is Undip Institutional Repository Collection. The author(s) or copyright owner(s) that UNDIP-IR may, without changing t Penyelesaian untuk memperkirakan ukuran dan bentuk benda cumber penyebab anomali gravitasi dikenal sebagai masalah inversi yang dicapai dengan optimal parameter-parameter, yaitu dimulai dari nilai awal model kemudian dihitung anomali teoritis model dan dibandingkan dengan anomali lapangan. Dengan menggunakan anomali teoritis dan anomali lapangan dimodifikasi nilai awal parameter dan didapatkan kurva model terbaik_ Dalam tugas akhir ini dibahas masalah inversi untuk memperkirakan parameter-parameter patahan normal yaitu struktur penting model geofisika untuk mempelajari daerah prospek eksplorasi. Optimasi Marquardt yang merupakan teknik gabungan antara metode Gauss Newton dan Steepest Descent digunakan sebagai algoritma untuk proses minimisasi fungsi sisa non tinier jumlah kuadrat terkecil antara anomali teoritis dan anomali lapangan. Sedangkan nilai awal parameter model didapatkan dari analisa kurva data lapangan. Kemudian dibuat program komputer Metode Otomatis Inversi Anomali Gravitasi Model Patahan Normal dalam bahasa BASIC. Program hanya membutuhkan anomali gravitasi lapangan dan jarak yang diukur dari titik tertentu (pusat koordinat) kurva anomali gravitasi. Nilai awal dihitung secara otomatis oleh program dari analisa kurva lapangan dan diperbaiki secara iteratif sehingga dihasilkan parameter-parameter model yang terbaik berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan_ vii
