Abstract

The purpose of this research was to drawn on the relationship between IT (information technology) resources, business resources, human resources and organizational performance. Using sample dominantly in retail business, this study replicates the research by Powell & Dent_Micallef (1996) rooted in resource-based view of the firm. The survey method is employed in this study. Total number of sample used is 134 organization, located in Semarang Central Java. Results indicate that firms with high IT capability tend to perform better. Orgnizational concern in business resources also gives a good influence to organizational performance. Surprisingly, the hypothese states that there is a strong and positive relationship between human resiources and organizational performance, is rejected.
