Abstract

ABSTRACT Stochastic inventory deals with various modelling and solution methods for inventory problems with uncertain demand. This project studies several single period probabilistic inventory models. The under-investigated models cover the discrete and continous models, models with set-up cost and without set-up cost. Firstly, we study and generate the solution of several models for general distribution function, and then the corresponding solution for specific distribution function is also studied. The specific distribution is the Eksponential Distribution F/nction. Masalah inventory stochastik mempelajari berbagai pemodelan dan penyelesaian masalah inventory dengan permintaan berubah-ubah secara probabilistik. Dalam penelitian ini dikaji beberapa model inventory probabilistik untuk periode tunggal saja. Adapun model-model yang dikaji menyan$kut model diskrit dan model kontinu, serta model dengan biaya set-up maupun model tanpa biaya set-up. Pertama dikaji bentuk-bentuk solusi untuk fungsi distribusi umum, kemucian dicari bentuk solusi untuk model dengan fungsi distribusi khusus yaitu fungsi distribusi Eksponensial.
