PENGEMBANGAN AGRIBISNIS MELALUI KONSEP PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT

Abstract

Agribusiness is a new way to develop industrialization process in Indonesia base on agriculture activity. To apply agribusiness development model, we should notice the concept of community empowerment. This article ex-plores the agribusiness development through community empowerment concept. In practical level, community em-powerment concept developed through community participation process related with the model of community orga-nizing, building and developing. There are six factors influence the ability of community participation in agribusiness development which are productivity process, institutional development, human resource, the spirit of entrepreneur-ship, networking development, and policymaking.
