Abstract

Since the mid-1990s, there has been a fundamental shift in bankinj delivery channels toward using self-service channels such as online banking services. In Indonesia, banks recently have served online banking services. Several previous researches attempt to examine factors which influence system usage, those are online banking using TAM model (technology acceptance model)--with two main construct, perceived usefulness and perceived ease ofuse. The TAM advantage in examining user acceptance is this model can be added by external variable. Therefore, this research attempt to develop TAM model by adding variables : perceived enjoyment, security and privacy, internet connection, and amount of information . The purpose of this research is to test the influence of each factors to system usage empirically. Data which are used are primary data by using questionnaire. Samples are taken from Mandiri bank consumers in Semarang. Total questionnaires which are spreaded are 100 questionnaires, 25 of them are not back and 5 others are not complete. Therefore, the final sample is 70 questionnaires . The test is using double linear regression method, by SPSS 15 as analyze tool. The result of this research are: (1) perceived usefulness significantly influences system usage; (2) perceived ease ofuse does not significantly influence system usage; (3) perceived enjoyment significantly influences system usage; (4) security and privacy significantly influences system usage; (5) internet connection significantly influences system usage; and (b) amount of information significantly influences system usage.
