Abstract

Administratively, the area of mapping is includes Kemusu Subdistrict, Boyolali District, Central Java Province. The scale of Geological mapping is using a base map with scale 1: 25000. The method is carried out geological mapping in this mapping is a method of direct field observation and analysis of data obtained. Regional geomorphology research units consist of three units, i.e structural units Wavy hilly, fluvial units, and units denudational Alluvial Plain. Stratigraphy of research areas with the old order to the young is Interfingering Units. The units of carbonaceous sandstone and interlayer carbonaceous siltstone and carbonaceous claystone (Kerek Formation), laharic breccia unit and tufaceous sandstone unit (Notopuro Formation), Conglomerate Unit (Deposition steps), and Unit of alluvium deposits. Geological structures that developed in the research area are shears, trust fault, sinistral shear faults, and boudinage structure. Potential georesources n this area are upper water, springs, bentonite mining materials, mining of building materials. Geological disasters such as landslides, poor soil of land capacity, danger fault, and drought. Keywords : Kauman, Kendeng, Kerek, Notopuro
