PENGARUH KEMATANGAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI, IUNERJA SISTEM INFORMASI DAN TINGKAT PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI TERHADAP KEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DI PERGURUAN TINGGI SWASTA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to explore the direct influence of maturity- information technology toward usefulness of information system, exploring the direct influence of performance-information system toward the usefulness of information system, exploring the direct influence of level of improvement- information system toward the usefulness of information system, exploring the direct influence of the level of improvement-information system toward the performance of information system, and exploring the direct influence of maturity-information technology toward the performance of information system. This study take the object at the private high school institutions which consist of the university institutions, Academic degree institutions, and others high school institutions which have legal certificate from the authorities institutions. The participants of this research are the chief and the structural functionary of private high school degree institutions at the Yogyakarta region, where there are many institutions of high school degree, and for each institutions only represented by one quiz. This research use the survey methods for collecting data and have distributed 125 quiz. The quiz which come back amount of 102 quiz. This mean that successful rate of distributing quiz was 81,6%. Researcher feel that sum sufficient to fulfill the analyses requirement of this study. The data which was used in this research derived from the quiz that be distributed to the participant, and this research consist of 102 quiz. Those data for further be analyzed by using SPSS Program Version 11, Release For Windows. This step is taken to solve the problem that have been identified in this research. Structural equation model that be used to analyze the problem identification in this research is the Path Analysis by using analysis- multiple regression procedure. The result of this study shows that maturity-information technology influence- positive direct significantly toward the usefulness of information system, this study also give information that the performance-information system variable influence positive direct significantly toward the usefulness of information system, the level of improvement-information system also influence- positive direct significantly toward the usefulness of information system. Other result of this study tell us that maturity-information technology variable affected- positive direct significantly toward the performance-information system variable and the variable of improvement level-information system also affected by direct positive significantly toward the petformance of information system. Tujuan yang akan dicapai dalam penelitian ini ada lima tujuan yaitu pertama adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris apakah terdapat pengaruh secara langsung yang positif dad kematanngan teknologi informasi terhadap kemanfaatan teknologi informasi, kemudian tujuan kedua adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris apakah kinerja sistem informasi berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kemanfaatan teknologi informasi, tujuan ketiga adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris apakah tingkat perkembangan teknologi informasi berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kemanfaatan teknologi informasi, tujuan keempat adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris apakah tingkat perkembangan teknologi informasi berpengaruh seen positif terhadap kinerja sistem informasi, dan tujuan kelima adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris apakah kematangan teknologi informasi berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kinerja sistem informasi pada Perguruan Tmggi Swasta di Yogyakarta. Responden penelitian ini adalah pimpinan dan pejabat struktural Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PIS) di Yogyakarta dimana tiap PTS hanya diwakili oleh satu kuisioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan mengirimkan 125 kuisioner dan dikembalikan sebanyak 112 lembar dan yang dapat diolah 102 sampel (tingkat pengembalian 81,6%). Data tersebut kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS Release 11.5. for Windows, untuk memecahkan persoalan regresi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Model persamaan struktural yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Path Analysis dengan menggunakan prosedur analisis regresi berganda. Hasil pengujian regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel kematangan teknologi informasi berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap tingkat kemanfaatan teknologi informasi, hasil berikutnya adalah bahwa variabel kinerja sistem informasi berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap kemanfaatan teknologi informasi, kemudian variabel tingkat perkembangan teknologi informasi berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap kemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Sedangkan variabel tingkat kematangan teknologi informasi juga berpengaruh secara postif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sistem informasi, kemudian variabel tingkat perkembangan teknologi informasi juga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat kinerja sistem informasi.
