Daerah endemik gondok ringan dilakukan kegiatan pemasyarakatan garam beriodium. There are only 52,38% of people in Sukareja District, Tegal Regency that consume enough iodized salt. The education levels, knowledge levels and mothers'in-come levels count on this circumstance. The objective of this research is to figure out the correlation between education levels, knowledge levels, and mothers' in-come levels and the levels of iodized salt consumption. The research belongs to the explanatory research using survey method and cross sectional study approach. 1044 household are the population, and 88 household are the sample. Univariat analyses were applied in this research. Chi square test was applied in this research as well. The research has come to: 92,05% of the samples are from elementary school level; 64,72% of the samples belong to the have not family; 57,96% of the samples consume enough iodized salt. Statistical test applying chi square shows; there is not any correlation between education levels and consumtion levels; there is a correlation between knowledge levels and consumption levels; there is a correlation between mothers' in-come levels and consumption levels. It is highly suggeted to conduct a program of socializing for the household and the posyandu volunteers on iodized salt consumption Keyword: Iodized salt consumption, Household, Sukareja Warureja regency of Tegal
