Abstract

Globlisasi membawa dampak yang luas bagi perkembangan perusahaan. Hal ini ditandai dengan meunculnya tantangan persaingan yang semakin tinggi dalam pasar global yang hams dihadapi perusahaan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan perusahaan merasa tertekan dan menggalami ketidakpastian dengan segala tantangan perubahan yang semakin cepat. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perusahaan hams merumuskan visi dan memiliki komitmen dalam menjalankankan alctivitasnya, serta sumber daya yang bemilai. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh komitmen organisasi kepada karyawan terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan menguji pengaruh interaksi komitmen organisasi kepada karyawan dengan strategi kompetitif (Cost leadership, marketing differentiation dan innovative differentiation) terhadap kinerja perusahaan Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan mail survey, dengan responden top manajer pada perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia. Kuisioner telah didistribusikan sebanyak 650 clan hanya 67 kuisioner yang dapat diolah. Telmik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi melalui pendekatan interasksi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa komitmen organisasi kepada karyawan berpengruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan serta komitmen organisasi kepada karyawan dengan strategi kompetitif (Cost leadership, marketing differentiation dan innovative differentiation) terhadap kinerj a perusahaan tidak signifikan. Akhimya peneliti menyarankan sebaiknya perusahaan dalam menentukan strategi kompetitifnya harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi perusahaan agar dapat meningkatkan kinerj a perusahaan. Kata kunci: Komitmen organisasi kepada karyawan, Strategi kompetitif (Cost leadership, marketing differentiation dan innovative differentiation), dan Kinerja Perusahaan. Globalization brings the wide impact to the company development. This phenomenon was marked by the emerging challenge of the high competition in the global market, which has to be faced by the company. This condition caused the company felt stressed and experienced uncertainty with all the dynamism challenge, which is getting faster. To overcome this thing the company has to formulate the vision and posses the commitment in committing its activity, and the precious resources. The main objective of this research is to examine the organizational commitment of the employee to the company performance and examine the interaction effect of organizational commitment to employee with the competitive strategy (Cost leadership, marketing differentiation and innovative differentiation) to the company performance. The mail survey is used to collect data, the respondents are top managers of the manufacture companies in Indonesia. There are 650 questionnaires distributed and only 67 could be processed The technique used to test the hypotheses is the regression analysis through the interaction approach. The result of the study finds that the organizational commitment of the employee has positive effect on the company performance and also the organizational commitment of the employee with competitive strategy (Cost Leadership, marketing differentiation and innovative differentiation) to the company is not significant. Eventually, it is suggested that the company in determining its competitive strategy has to adjust to its condition so the strategy will be able to increase the company performance.
