Abstract
ABSTRACT Recently, the modem business principle is no longer "find a need and fill it" but it become "imagine a need and fill it". Product advantage compared by another product is one of new product success. To develop competitive advantage product, company do everything to know customer's wants and needs by customer learning process, competitor learning process and cross-functional integration. This research tests how to enhance new product success at market by those variables. Data was gained from 100 furniture company managers in Jepara Central Java united in ASMINDO (Indonesian furniture industry and handicraft association) komda Jepara. From data analysis, result was obtained . model raised in this research is acceptable. It is shown by chi-square = 83,90, Goodness of Fit Index =0,904,. Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index = 0,861, Tucker Lewis Index = 0,999, CMIN/DF = 1,006, Comparative Fit Index = 0,999. those number indexs are standart although Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index is accepted marginally. Findings show that new product success can be achieved from new product development process and sinergy among customer and competitor learning and cross-functional integration Concludes with a discussion of managerial implications and direction for future reserch. Prisip bisnis modem sekarang adalah bukan lagi " find a need and fill if' tetapi sudah berubah menjadi " imagine a need and fill it". Keunggulan produk dibandingkan dengan produk lain merupakan salah satu penentu kesuksesan produk barn. Untuk dapat membuat produk yang mempunyai keunggulan bersaing, perusahaan melakukan upaya untuk mengetahui keinginan dan kebutuhan pelanggannya dengan pembelajaran pelanggan, pesaing dan integrasi lintas fungsi perusahaan. Penelitian ini menguji bagaimana variabel-variabel tersebut dapat meningkatkan kesuksesan produk bare di pasar. Data penelitian diperoleh dari 100 manager perusahaan mebel di Kabupaten Jepara Jawa Tengah yang tergabung dalam Asosiasi Industri Permebelan dan Kerajinan Indonesia (ASMINDO) komda Jepara. Dan analisis data diperoleh hash dimana model yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima yang ditunjukkan oleh indeks kesesuaian dimana nilai chi-square model sebesar 83,90, Goodness of Fit Index x,904, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index = 0,861, Tucker Lewis Index = 0,999, CMIN/DF (minimum sample discrepancy function dibagi dengan degree of freedom) = 1,006, Comparative Fit Index = 0,999, yang semuanya telah memenuhi syarat walaupun Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index diterima secara marginal Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesuksesan produk barn dapat dicapai melalui proses pengembattgan produk barn dan sinergi antara pembelajaran pelanggan, pesaing dan integrasi lintas fungsi. Paparan ini ditutup dengan implikasi managerial dan agenda penelitian mendatang.
