BEBERAPA FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRAKTEK PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA BAYI UMUR 0-4 BULAN DI DESA PAREMONO KECAMATAN MUNGKID KABUPATEN MAGELANG

Abstract

ASI sangat penting bagi bayi. Namun, sangat disayangkan bahwa di Indonesia saat ini, pemberian ASI secara eksklusif belum sesuai dengan harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi praktek pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi umur 0-4 bulan di Desa Paremono Kecamatan Mungkid Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi sebagai teknik untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Subyek dipilih atas prinsip purposif dengan cara snowballing sampling dan didapat 13 orang subyek penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga faktor yaitu predisposing, enabling dan reinforcing yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif mendukung dan menghambat pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi umur 0-4 bulan di Desa Paremono Kecamatan Mungkid Kabupaten Magelang. Faktor yang mendukung berupa pengetahuan tentang ASI, kolostrum dan ASI eksklusif dari sebagian besar subyek (9 dari 13 orang)yang sudah baik,pelayanan kesehatan dan tenaga kesehatan yang baik, bayi yang lahir normal, lama, frekuensi, dan posisi pemberian ASI yang sudah sesuai anjuran. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat berupa sikap yang tidak setuju dengan ASI eksklusif, motivasi kurang, banyak ibu mengalami payudara bengkak, informasi kurang, orang terdekat subyek dan masyarakat yang kurang mendukung, dan program PP-ASI eksklusif yang bukan prioritas puskesmas. Amat disayangkan, pengetahuan subyek yang sudah baik tetapi tidak membentuk sikap dan motivasi yang positif terhadap ASI eksklusif. Hal ini karena pemberian makanan tambahan sebelum 4 bulan bukan merupakan ancaman bagi subyek dan adanya dukungan negatif dari orang-orang terdekat subyek yang menjadi referensi. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk memberikan penyuluhan tentang ASI secara terprogram kepada ibu-ibu menyusui dan orang-orang terdekat subyek serta menjadikan program pemberian ASI eksklusif sebagai salah satu penunjang program Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak. Kata Kunci: ASI Eksklusif, bayi umur 0-4 bulan, faktor predisposing SOME FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE EXCLUSIVE BREAST FEEDING TO 0-4 MONTH OLD BABIES IN PAREMONO VILLAGE MUNGKID DISTRICT MAGELANG REGENCY (QUALITATIVE STUDY) Breast feeding is very important for the babies. Unfortunatelly, in Indonesia exclusive breast feeding isn't according to target right now. The aim of this research is knowing some factors that influence exclusive breast feeding to 0-4 month old babies in Paremono Village Mungkid District Magelang Regency. This research uses qualitative method with indepth interview and observation to bring primary data. Subject are chosen as purposive principle with snowballing sampling and gain 13 subject. The result shows that there are predisposing, reinforcing and enabling that influence exclusive breast feeding to 0-4 month old babies in Paremono Village Mungkid District Magelang Regency. The supporting factors are the good knowledge of most subjects (9 from 13)about breast feeding, the good health services and health worker, the normal born of the babies, the exactly breast feeding (duration, frequencies and position). The obstructing factors are the disagreement attitude of exclusive breast feeding, less motivation, the swollen breast suffer of many mothers , less information, unsupporting exclusive breast feeding from the nearest of the subject and public and exclusive breast feeding isn't the priority programe. Unfortunatelly, the good knowledge of the subject isn't make positive exclusive breast feeding's attitude and motivation. It's because giving food before 4 months isn't a threat for subject and negative supporting from the nearest people of the subject as reference. So, the suggestion are giving breast feeding's information to breast-fed mother and the nearest people of the subject and also make exclusive breast feeding as the one of the mother and child programe.
