Abstract
Anak sekolah sedang dalam masa pertumbuhan, sehingga keseimbangan gizinya harus diperhatikan. Kebiasaan jajan anak perlu mendapat perhatian, karena anak-anak cenderung menyukai makanan jajanan yang berharga murah dan miskin gizinya. Peran orang tua, terutama ibu untuk mengarahkan anak dalam pemilihan makanan jajanan cukup besar. Pendidikan gizi anak bertujuan untuk mengarahkan anak kepada pembiasaan dan cara makan yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola hubungan pendidikan gizi anak dalam keluarga dengan pola konsumsi makanan jajanan miskin gizi pada anak kelas IV-VI SDN Krapyak Lor 1 Kota Pekalongan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory reseach dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi 113 anak dengan jumlah sampel 45 anak. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelas IV-VI dan ibu dari anak tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 40% responden mempunyai pola pendidikan gizi dengan kategori baik,28,9%kategori cukup, 31,1% kategori kurang. sebanyak 40%pengetahuan gizi anak termasuk kategori kurang,28,9% cukup dan 31,1%baik.Sebagian besar anak (53,3 %)mengkonsumsi makanan jajanan miskin gizi lebih dari satu kali sehari dan 44,5% sekali sehari.Hasil uji dengan korelasi Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara pola pendidikan gizi anak dalam keluarga dengan pengetahuan gizi anak(nilai p=0,753),tidak ada hubungan pengetahuan gizi anak dengan pola konsumsi makanan jajanan miskin gizi(nilaip=0,618), dan tidak ada hubungan pola pendidikan gizi anak dalam keluarga dengan pola konsumsi makanan jajanan miskin gizi (nilai p=0,519). Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi anak perlunya pendidikan gizi di sekolah, pembinaan dan pengawasan terhadap penjual makanan jajanan di sekolah. Pihak sekolah juga menghimbau orang tua agar menyediakan bekal makanan dan minuman serta mengawasi kebiasaan jajan anaknya. Kata Kunci: pendidikan gizi, makanan jajanan,miskin gizi THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE PATTERN OFCHILDREN'S NUTRITION EDUCATION IN THE FAMILY AND THE PATTERN OF POOR NUTRITION SNACK CONSUMPTION (A STUDY OF 4th-6th GRADE STUDENTS IN SDN KRAPYAK LOR 1 PEKALONGAN 2005) The students are in the growth periods, therefore the balance of their nutrition must be concerned. The habit of the children in consuming the snack should be concerned, because the children like the cheap snacks which contain of poor nutrition. The role of their parents, especially their mother is very important to guide them in the choosing the snack.The purpose of the children nutrition education is to guide the children about the habit and consuming snack in a good manner. The purpose of the reseach is to know the correlation between the pattern of children nutrition education in the family and the pattern of poor nutrition snack consumption among the 4th-6th grade students in SDN Krapyak Lor 1 Pekalongan. The method of this reseach is explanatory reseach by usin cross cestional approach. The number of population is 113 studentsand the number of sample is 4 students. The respondents of this reseach are student of 4th-6th grade student and their mother.The result of this reseach shown that 40 % of respondents had nutrition education was good, 28,9 % was sufficient, 31,1 % was bad. It was 40 % of children nutrition knowledge in bad catagorize, 28,9 % was sufficient, 31,1 % was good.Most of the children (53,3%) consume poor nutrition snack more than once a day and 44,5% once a day.The test results with the correlation of Pearson Product Moment shows that there is no correlation between the pattern of children's nutrition education in the family and the children knowledge (p value= 0,753), there is no correlation between children nutrition knowledge with the pattern of poor nutrition snack consumption (p value=0,618), there was no correlation between the pattern of children's nutrition education in the family and the pattern of poor snack consumption(pvalue= 0,519). To increase the children nutrition knowledge, the nutrition education in the school is necessary, maintenance and controling to the seller of the snack in the school. The school it self also suggest to the parents in order to give food and drinking water and also control the habit of their children in consuming snack.
